My friend lent me a copy of Danger Girl: the ultimate collection, and although I ‘ve never enjoyed reading comics before (except for MAD magazine, but that doesn’t count) I just devoured this one.

Ok, so the girls in it are totally unrealistic and perfect in every way, as one of my friends said “You wouldn’t survive if you had a waist that small”. Bruce Campbell, who wrote the introduction says that ” You’ve got to buy into a world were the men are manly and the women all look like they just won a wet t-shirt contest”.

But thats not the point. They are sassy, sexy, adventurous and know what they want and how to get it.

My fave is Sydney Savage….hot in leather.

The plot is kind of ordinary…the usual try and save the world from evil wrong-dooers but the drawings are vibrant and the characters are interesting.

I’d definately recommend it for people who don’t usually read comic books, people who like a bit of adventure and sass and hot girls and guys.
